About Me
Hi, I’m Molly Jones — a dancer and arts manager passionate about bringing performances to life both on stage and behind the scenes.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Dance Management at Oklahoma City University, where I am also studying business. My education has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in both performance and arts administration, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the industry.
As a performer, I have had the opportunity to train extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern, and perform in a variety of productions including Move! Dance for the World of Entertainment and Holiday Spectacular. These experiences have shaped my artistry, discipline, and love for storytelling through movement.
Alongside performing, I am deeply passionate about the operational side of the arts. I have worked in roles such as Assistant Stage Manager, Assistant Company Manager, Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor, and Lighting Board Operator, where I’ve supported productions from rehearsal to performance. Whether managing backstage operations, coordinating rehearsals, or facilitating communication across departments, I thrive in collaborative environments that require organization, adaptability, and problem-solving.
My goal is to build a career that bridges performance and management — creating meaningful artistic experiences while ensuring productions run seamlessly. I am especially interested in dance-focused organizations, live entertainment, and arts nonprofits where I can contribute both creatively and strategically.
Above all, I am driven by a love for the arts, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence in every role I take on.
